Eleni Lefakis is an early-career theater director, manager, and translator. A recent graduate of the University of Chicago, where she worked on no less than 50 productions, she is currently the administrative apprentice at the Juilliard School’s Ellen and James S. Marcus Institute for Vocal Arts. She is also ½ of the team running Fourth Culture Collective, an independent theater company devoted to collaborative creation, co-founded by Nathalie Lam.

Eleni’s domestic credits include Here, Somewhere (Fourth Culture Collective); Europera 5 (Neubauer Collegium); Berlin (Court Theater); Thirteenth Morning (Reptilian Affiliates); Some Bodies, on the back of before, The Ballad of Oedipus (UChicago TAPS), Much Ado About Nothing, Strings Attached, Be More Chill (University Theater at UChicago).

International credits include My God is Julie Andrews (Reptilian Affiliates, Edinburgh); Le Nozze di Figaro (Berlin Opera Academy, Berlin); Norma, Oedipus at Colonus (Lykofos Productions, Athens); Cuando las Nubes Besan a las Montañas, Sacudete!, Inundades (Teatro del Presagio, Cali).
